Amazon workers along with teamsters kicked off a strike against the mega corporation in the lead up to the holiday season. Amazon started as an online bookseller and in the decades since expanded to an everything seller. Amazon and its prime membership is responsible for revolutionizing gift giving, shipping, and customer expectations as well as worker productivity and safety. Workers have been organizing for days in what is their time of year with the most leverage. We will see what results can come because it all depends on how it impacts consumers and if the narrative around their fight can be adopted by the general public.
